You will not want to miss this discovery of OLD & NEW when we combine the ancient civilization relics of Egypt with the futuristic and modern technological advances in Dubai. While in Egypt we will visit the new Grand Egyptian Museum, see the mummies of the pharaonic dynasties, visit the Nubian villages in Aswan and explore many of the famous temples along the Nile River. We will take a quick flight to the Emirates and spend a few days in Dubai. While in Dubai, we will stop at the world famous Burj Khalifa (the tallest building in the world) along with a visit to the Spice Souk and Gold Souk. A trip to Dubai isn't complete without a Desert Safari and BBQ Dinner.

Together we'll explore the Great Pyramids of Giza and the very Instagram-worthy Sphinx. Our time in Cairo wouldn't be complete without a visit to the Egyptian Museum. It houses many astounding artifacts including the celebrated mummies of ancient Egypt's kings and King Tutankhamun's treasures.
Get ready to jet-set throughout the country as we take flight to Luxor, Aswan and then Abu Simbel. Marvel at the Great Temple of Ramses II and the temple of his beloved Queen Nefertari, Ptolemaic Temple of Sobek & Haroeris and the Temple of Horus. We'll see the East Bank visiting Luxor and Karnak Temples & West Bank necropolis including the Valley of the Kings and Queens and the Funerary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. We'll end this part of the tour with a panoramic stop at the Colossi of Amenhotep III named the Colossi of Memnon by the Greeks.
In route to Aswan we will visit the Ptolemaic temples of Edfu and the Temple of of Kom Ombo. A visit to Aswan wouldn't be complete without a stop at the Nubian village. Here we'll have tea with a local Nubian family and learn more about their history in Egypt and Sudan.
After seven amazing days of taking in the culture and ancient sites of Egypt, it's time to experience what the future might look like as we visit the technology capital of the region: Dubai.
Upon arrival in Dubai, we'll be transferred to our hotel for an evening at leisure. The following day will include a full day tour of the city, including the Dubai Frame, Abra ride acrose Dubai Creek, shopping in the Spice and Gold Souks and an unforgettable trip to the top of the tallest building in the world, the Burj Kahlifa. We'll enjoy Dinner in the Sky in the evening.
Our final full day in Dubai includes a visit to the Pointe on Palm Island, and optional (but highly recommended) brunch at Saffron. It's the BEST day party in town! In the evening, we'll enjoy a Desert Safari tour that includes dune bashing, BBQ Dinner, henna painting and belly dancing.
After the experience of a lifetime, it's time to say farewell...until the next Group Getaway!

Guests will book with a low deposit and then make subsequent installment payments until the trip is paid in full. You may also choose to pay in full at the time of booking. Timely installment payments are expected. Two or more late payments will cause your booking to be subject to automatic cancellation without refund. Flights to/from Egypt/Dubai are not included. All travelers are responsible for booking their own international flights. We can assist with this, just let us know. Flights must be booked by September 15, 2023. Arrival on November 17th should be by 4pm to ensure you're included in our welcome events. Cairo International Airport (CAI) is the arrival airport. You will depart from CAI on November 23rd no earlier than 8am if you choose NOT to do the Dubai Extension.

We realize that plans can change so we've established these flexible cancellation policies as follows:
Cancellations between 3/10/2023 - 5/10/2023: $250 cancellation penalty applies. Refund of any remaining balance will be issued back to original form of payment within 30 days of cancellation notice.
Cancellations between 5/11/2023 - 8/8/2023: Traveler may transfer booking to another passenger OR receive a 50% refund in the form of a Future Travel Credit (to be applied to a future Oheneba Events & Travel Group Getaway. Book by 12/1/23 - Travel by 12/31/24)
