A little about me: I have been in the hospitality industry for 18 years with experience in both hotel sales as well as event planning. In 2013 I earned the Certified Meeting Professional designation from the Events Industry Council (formerly Convention Industry Council). Along with selling travel, I also teach hospitality courses to the future leaders in the industry. I personally believe in the importance of experiences over material possessions. The memories you create while traveling will remain with you forever. It is the one thing you buy that makes your richer!
My area of expertise is both family and group travel to Island and African destinations. I believe that the world is not such a big, scary place when you take time to immerse yourself in the culture of others. I have family connections to Africa (Ghana, specifically) and I have learned first-hand how this beautiful, mineral rich continent has the potential to change the lives of those who visit with an open heart and mind. I'd be happy to help you plan your safari in Zimbabwe, beach trip to the Seychelles, or a trek to trace your roots in Ghana.
Also, with my background in events and meeting management, I can help coordinate conferences and other events both within the US and abroad. While I focus on Island and African destinations, please allow me the opportunity to plan your travel experience anywhere in the world!
