Indulge all your senses in South Africa

Cape Town is undoubtedly one of our favorite cities in the world. From its beautiful beaches, to its historic architecture and its iconic natural landscapes, it's truly a site to behold! This amazing city is the first stop on our galivant through South Africa, but certainly not the only. We'll savor nature's nectar in wine country, get up close (but not too close) to wildlife on safari and walk in Nelson Mandela's footsteps in Soweto.

There's so much to see and do in this beautiful country, and while we can't do it all, we're definitely going to maximize our time during this one-of-a-kind 8-day experience of The Rainbow Nation. Grab your travel buddy or join us solo for an adventure of a lifetime!

Details, Please

Upon arrival in beautiful Cape Town, you'll be met at the airport by our in-destination representatives, guided through the airport and escorted to our amazing 4 star hotel the Cape Town. Enjoy nautical decor and stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean. We'll start the getaway off with a welcome reception and tour orientation.

After resting and getting accustomed to your new surroundings, we'll do a full day tour of Cape Point and the Peninsula. This will help you gather your baring's and you'll soon be able to see why this city is one of the best in the world! We'll see the penguins at Chapman's Peak and you'll be able to take that must-have photo at Cape of Good Hope (the most south-western point on the African continent).

Day three takes us to the top of Table Mountain on the famous cable car. You'll be able to see the whole city from an aerial view. It's truly a site to behold! In the afternoon we'll take the ferry over to Robben Island and begin our walk in Mandela's footsteps as we visit the site where he spent 18 of his 27-year imprisonment in a small cell without even a bed or plumbing. His story is one of triumph and empowerment and we'll immerse ourselves in it throughout the journey.

A trip to South Africa isn't complete (IMO) without a trip to the vineyards where some of the country's most famous wines are produced. On day four we'll venture to Stellenbosch for a full day of wine tasting and roaming through the endless vineyards.

Pack your bags because we're jet-setting to Johannesburg for the last leg of our trip. First stop is two blissful days in Pilanesburg to experience a few safari game drives. Keep your eyes open to see if you get lucky and spot the Big 5! The Big Five game animals are the lionleopardblack rhinocerosAfrican bush elephant, and the African buffalo

Our last full day will be spent in Johannesburg. Here we'll take a half-day tour of Soweto and learn more about Nelson Mandela's life and contributions to the Rainbow Nation. You're likely to see school children playing and a vibrant community going about their daily lives as we make our way through the former township (now a city) created specifically for black South Africans in the 1930s. We'll end the experience with an un-forgettable farewell dinner.

You don't want to miss your chance to experience the grandeur of this great African destination. Join us for this 8-day small group getaway and carry the memories for a lifetime!
