The adventure begins in the vibrant city of Dakar, the capital of Senegal. You'll be transferred to your accommodation where you can rest and freshen up for the adventures to come.
Day 2: Dakar City Tour, Black Civilization Museum, and Renaissance Monument
Embark on a discovery tour of Dakar. Explore its streets, bustling markets and historical sites, each telling a unique story about this energetic city. Immerse yourself in Senegalese history at the Black Civilisation Museum and be amazed by the Renaissance Monument, a truly awe-inspiring sight towering over Dakar.
Day 3: Full-day discovery of Goree Island, including lunch
Sail to the historical Goree Island, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Soak in the colonial architecture, vibrant culture and moving history of this former site of the Atlantic Slave Trade. Enjoy a local lunch to the tune of the ocean waves and the island's carefree ambiance.
Day 4: Full-day discovery of the Pink Lake and sand dunes experience
Venture to the remarkable Pink Lake, named for its unique pink waters caused by an unusual type of algae. Enjoy a sand dunes experience and feel like a desert explorer. These two natural wonders will make for a day of amazing photos and unforgettable memories.
Day 5: Full-day safari at Fathala Reserve, with lunch at Paletuviers Restaurant
Head to the Fathala Reserve for a safari experience. Have your binoculars ready and keep an eye out for Africa's iconic fauna, including rhinos, lions, zebras, giraffes, and many more. After your safari, reward your taste buds with a lovely lunch at Paletuviers Restaurant, surrounded by the echoes of the wilderness.
We depart Senegal on Day 6 but, if you're not ready to step foot off Africa soil, continue your journey with us to Ghana and even Togo & Benin!

Guests will book with a low deposit and then make subsequent installment payments until the trip is paid in full. You may also choose to pay in full at the time of booking. Timely installment payments are required. Two or more late payments will make your booking subject to automatic cancellation without refund. Flights to Senegal are not included. All travelers are responsible for booking their own flights. We can assist with this, just let us know. Flights must be booked by October 1, 2024. Arrival on December 3rd should be by 4pm to ensure you're included in our welcome events. DSS is the airport code for Blaise Diagne International Airport in Dakar, Senegal.

We only travel in small groups of no more than 20 individuals.

Travelers will receive their final travel instructions 15 days prior to departure.

A valid passport with 6 months validity from the departure date and at least one blank page is required for travel.

A Visa on arrival or an eVisa is the easiest way to enter the country as it can be applied online and obtained after reaching the foreign destination.

Refunds will not be provided for cancellations due to passport, visa or required vaccine issues.

Cancellation policy:
1-10 DAYS AFTER DEPOSIT (121+ days prior to trip departure): booking is fully refundable to the original form of payment.
11+ DAYS AFTER DEPOSIT or IF DEPOSIT IS MADE 120 DAYS OR LESS PRIOR TO TRAVEL: BOOKINGS BECOME 100% NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-TRANSFERABLE.

If Oheneba Events & Travel is compelled to cancel this trip for any reason, all booked travelers will receive a full refund in the form of Future Travel Credit for another Group Getaway.
