Day two is all about exploring Accra, the bustling capital. Accra is a lively mix of bustling markets, heritage sites, and delicious local cuisine. From the grand Independence Square to Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park's history, you'll get to see the best of the city on this day.​

Next, we take a quick flight to Kumasi, a beacon of culture and artisanship. Witness the wonders of traditional craftsmanship in local villages, and soak up Kumasi’s vibrant history on a city tour. ​

Day four ushers in a picturesque journey from Accra to the coastal city of Cape Coast. With its rich history and stunning landscapes, the connection with Ghana deepens.​

Get ready for a dual experience of history and nature on day five. Revel in the natural wonder that is Kakum National Park, with its exhilarating canopy walkway and in the afternoon explore the hallowed walls of Elmina Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Before heading back to Accra, participate in a traditional naming ceremony and learn about local Ghanaian cuisine with a cooking lesson. These immersive activities heighten your understanding of Ghana's inspiring culture and customs.​

Upon arrival in the vibrant city of Lome, Togo, you'll be immediately immersed in its compelling mix of friendliness and excitement. Take this time to enjoy the hotel's amenities or stroll around the nearby streets to accustom yourself to the inviting Togolese environment.

On the second day in Togo we'll embark on a fascinating city tour of Lome. This will include visiting the famous Grand Marché, an expansive marketplace, buzzing with life, color, and unique finds. You'll also get to see the city's landmarks that bear the stories of its rich history, and cultural sites that reflect the soul of the city.

The following day we'll continue our scenic drive to stunning Benin. Here, your first stop is the intriguing Python Temple, where serpents are venerated in an enchanting display of faith and tradition. Your adventure continues into the Sacred Forest, a tranquil sanctuary wrapped in legends of old and overflowing with a sense of mystery. Lastly, we tread the paths of the Slave Route, a poignant reminder of the country's past, offering a glimpse into the fraught history of the transatlantic slave trade.

 

​Our final day here begins gazing up at the Amazon Warrior Statue, a rousing testament to female valor and power. Afterwards, marvel at the ingenious architecture of Ganvie Stilt Village, a bustling community that thrives atop the shimmering waters. Breathe in the sights, sounds, and stories, understanding the resilience and innovativeness of the villagers.
